The QUEEN over QUEEN Bunk Bed is custom-made and offered in a choice of different colors. Two different heights are also provided.
Crate Designs manufactures all bunk beds from Southern Yellow Pine and uses sturdy mortise and tenon joinery in their construction. The company builds every frame in Ontario, Canada.
This Queen over Queen bunk bed includes a removable ladder as standard. You can choose either a ground-reaching ladder (as shown in the main photos) or a vertical ladder. The vertical ladder attaches from the top bed to the bottom bed and does not touch the ground at all.
Both ladder options cost the same. Please select your preference at checkout; otherwise, the system will automatically select the ladder shown.
The set includes a full-length rear guardrail and a removable front guardrail. Crate Designs also offers extra-long options for big kids, as well as a taller version that provides 8” more headroom under the bed for comfortable seating.
Rigorous testing proves both levels support over 450 pounds, making them safe for adult use. This exceptional strength makes them ideal for rental properties. Crate Designs builds all bunks and loft beds to institutional-grade standards for lasting adult use.
When ordering, you can select extra height between the bunks as an optional add-on, adding 8 inches between the two levels.

Optional extras:
Add a trundle: For extra storage or extra sleeping space! Our trundles come with removable drawer inserts, allowing the trundle to be converted from storage to sleeping whenever required. Mattress required for trundle must not be deeper than 6″.
Add a mattress: Crate designs also manufacturer their own range of mattresses that compliment their custom made bunk beds, loft beds, etc. These mattresses can be shipped to most of Canada when purchased with a Crate Designs bed system.
We guarantee that our furniture will have gaps and cracks, but will not fall apart for as long as you own it! Moreover, shipping charges for replacement parts are included during your first year of ownership.
